This segment is a field of learning and discovery, where the youths and children alike are introduced to the wonders of African heritage through interactive and educational activities!

Join us for a vibrant celebration with our young cultural ambassadors in a dynamic canvas where traditions come to life and youths and children embrace the wonders of African heritage.

These ambassadors will carry the torch of tradition throughout the festival and beyond for a period of 12 calendar months, inspiring their peers and fostering a sense of pride in their heritage.

  • Face Painting: Let imaginations soar as children transform into living artworks! Talented artists will adorn faces with vibrant designs, each stroke narrating a tale of African heritage and identity.

  • Scholarships Presentation: Empowering the future! In acknowledgment of talent and dedication, scholarships are presented to exceptional young minds, fostering their pursuit of education and cultural enrichment.

  • Book Donations: Contributing to knowledge dissemination and education, our book donations initiative aims to provide access to literature, fostering learning and literacy across communities.

  • Folk Tales: Gather around for enchanting storytelling sessions! Children will be captivated by age-old folk tales, each narrative weaving together morals, history, and the magic of African storytelling traditions. The 2023 edition featured Nollywood frontline actress, Monalisa Chinda-Coker who happened to be the Chairperson of the festival’s organizing committee.

  • Cultural Dance Competition: Feel the rhythm, move to the beat! Engaging dance competitions offer children the chance to learn and perform traditional African dances, igniting a passion for cultural expression whilst rewarding outstanding dancers in various categories.

  • Eating Competition: A delightful fusion of fun and tradition! Young participants embrace the joy of African cuisine as they compete in friendly eating contests, savoring and celebrating the flavors and diversity of our food heritage.


    The Youth Cultural Festival at our event (Nollywood Cultural heritage Festival) is a playground of cultural exploration, education, fun moments and joyous celebration. Through these engaging activities, we aim to nurture a deep appreciation for African traditions, instilling pride and a sense of belonging in the leaders of tomorrow.
